Coroner identifies man shot dead in southeast Las Vegas backyard

A antheral killed successful his southeast Las Vegas backyard was identified Thursday by the Clark County coroner’s office.

He was Joel Damian-Marin, 48. He died of a gunshot coiled to the torso, and his decease was ruled a homicide.

Police were initially called astatine 12:54 a.m. Tuesday to the 3300 artifact of Denali Preserve thoroughfare after a study of a shooting. Officers recovered Damian-Marin successful his backyard, suffering from a gunshot wound, according to a connection from the Metropolitan Police Department.

Investigators judge Damian-Marin heard dogs barking, and aft helium stepped outside, helium was shot. He was taken to Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center, wherever helium died.
