Coroner IDs homicide victim found dead at North Las Vegas park

A person who was recovered dead astatine a North Las Vegas parkland successful July has been identified arsenic a 64-year-old man.

Donald Gissen died of crisp unit injuries, according to the Clark County coroner’s office, which ruled his decease a homicide.

Police were called astatine 5:30 a.m. connected July 8 to a parkland adjacent the 2600 artifact of Tonopah Avenue aft a study of an injured person, the North Las Vegas Police Department said astatine the time.

Officers recovered Gissen, who died astatine the scene, but did not instantly divulge what his injuries were.
