Former Raiders coach Gruden sues NFL, commissioner

Former Raiders caput manager Jon Gruden, who resigned past month aft racist, misogynistic and anti-gay emails surfaced, is suing the NFL and Commissioner Roger Goodell.

“Through a malicious and orchestrated campaign, the NFL and Commissioner Roger Goodell sought to destruct the vocation and estimation of Jon Gruden, the erstwhile caput manager of the Las Vegas Raiders,” the suit filed Thursday successful Clark County District Court stated.

Grudent’s lawyers wrote successful the 21-page ailment that helium was “forced to resign.”

“When their archetypal salvo did not effect successful Gruden’s firing oregon resignation, Defendants ratcheted up the unit by intimating that further documents would go nationalist if Gruden was not fired,” the suit stated. “They followed done with this menace by leaking different batch of documents to the New York Times for an October 11, 2021 article. On October 7, 2021, Jon Gruden was the caput manager of the Raiders connected a 10-year, $100-million contract. By October 11, 2021, helium had been forced to resign.”
