LETTER: Former city councilman warned of Badlands fiasco

As I recall, erstwhile Las Vegas City Councilman Bob Beers predicted the metropolis of Las Vegas — meaning the taxpayers — could beryllium held liable for the Badlands fiasco (“Judge rules Las Vegas took 35 acres connected Badlands,” Wednesday Review-Journal). Well, it looks similar Bob was right. Now, the radical volition seemingly beryllium stuck holding the bag.
