PM Modi welcomes Qatari Emir

Qatari Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani on Tuesday met with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi at Hyderabad House for talks. The meeting will mark a milestone in further strengthening the special bilateral ties between the two countries, the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) said.

Qatari Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani on Tuesday met with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi at Hyderabad House for talks. The meeting will mark a milestone in further strengthening the special bilateral ties between the two countries, the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) said. Prime Minister Narendra Modi met Qatari Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani for talks at Hyderabad House here on Tuesday.The MEA said a "new milestone" for this "special" bilateral partnership is on the cards.

As part of a courtesy
visit at Rashtrapati Bhavan, the Emir of Qatar was accorded an official welcome by President Draupadi Murmu. Prime Minister Narendra Modi also participated in the event held at Rashtrapati Bhavan.

PM's welcome at Hyderabad House
MEA took to its official Twitter account to announce the meeting, saying, "This special India-Qatar partnership is a new milestone on the cards." Prime Minister Modi received the Emir of Qatar at Hyderabad House.

Modi's special hospitality
Prime Minister Modi himself went to the airport on Monday evening to extend a special hospitality to the Emir of Qatar. On this occasion, Modi said on Twitter, "I went to the airport to welcome my brother, HH the Amir of Qatar. I wish him a fruitful visit to India."

This meeting , a new phase in India-Qatar relations,
will further strengthen bilateral relations and serve as a platform for key discussions to expand cooperation in areas such as trade, investment, defense, energy, culture and more.
